Applications of CBCT

There are many uses for 3D modelling in medical science, or CBCT. Commonly, it is used in the study of the blood vessels (angiography) and for guiding radiographic treatment. In medical dentistry, its uses include but are not limited to reconstructive surgery, as a guidance method for placing dental implants, tumour detection and analysis, and examination of the soft tissue around the bones and teeth. It also has practical uses for patients reporting Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) disorders. This 3D modelling equipment offers superior diagnosis methods for patients requiring dental  scans.
